  Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Cosy with coal & log fires. Good real ales and good choice of wine and spirits. Dining in restaurant and bar available. Regular entertainment.Early doors emtertainment Friday.

  The Swan is 'worth passing a few pubs for' (at least one!) and we regard it as our local. It's had several changes of owner over the years (see early reviews) but seems now to be consistently good. We went for the 'Fish Night' and the food was, I'd say, as good s you might get in the West End - certainly top end of 'gastropub' standards. Delicious, imaginative and beautifully presented. The staff are nowadays consistently friendly, alert and helpful. 5 stars!
