  Dont like giving poor reviews especially when the staff were friendly but service was very poor. Asked 3 times to order food and ended up buying the kids some crisps as waited so long. Then the order was wrong

  Yet another sub standard marstons pub. Sorry guys but wetherspoons are lightyears ahead in quality of service, drink selection and food, the food was cooked so poorly, steak was cooked very well done not medium rare, all the rest of the two mixed grills we had were greasy and poor quality meat. So sad. Marstons is going to go under soon with food this terrible.

  After being seated for 20 minutes with no one coming to take an order, I enquired at the bar to be told someone would be coming. After 35 minutes I went and fetched a waitress myself. The food when it arrived was nice enough although the breaded mushrooms were overcooked to the hardness of concrete and they have a nice selection but the place is let down by bad service. It wasn't even remotely busy so can't understand the long wait.
